Ahmedabad kicks off Navratri celebrations with BNI Garba Night

 

Intro – Ahmedabad’s grandest sheri garba event receives an overwhelming response from garba revellers.

Ahmedabad: The 11th edition of the highly anticipated BNI Garba Night marked a vibrant beginning to Ahmedabad’s Navratri festivities. Having established itself as one of the city’s most cherished private Garba celebrations, the BNI Garba Night brought together BNI members, their families and garba enthusiasts for an unforgettable night of devotion and rhythm.

Themed around the colour Red, symbolising Shakti (power) and Shukan (auspicious beginnings) in Hindu mythology, the event captured the essence of divine feminine energy. Thousands of participants adorned in radiant red danced to the tunes of traditional garba, creating a sea of passion and energy at BNI Village, the largest Garba venue in the city.

The highlight of the evening was the electrifying performance by Parth Oza, renowned as the Prince of Traditional Garba, whose soulful renditions of Navratri classics filled the night with devotion and excitement. His mesmerising voice led the crowd into a rhythmic trance, as garba revellers danced in unison, embodying the spirit of Navratri celebration.

What started as a small event 11 years ago has now become an integral part of Ahmedabad’s Navratri traditions. The BNI Garba Night has become synonymous with the authentic spirit of Garba in the city and each year it attracts an even larger audience. This year saw prominent members from the business community and their families join the festivities, making it a night that blended devotion, tradition, and community in one grand spectacle.

In addition to the main garba event, the venue offered a range of facilities to ensure a smooth experience for the participants. With parking provisions for 4,000 cars and dedicated spaces for children’s activities, BNI Garba Night catered to participants of all ages. Extensive security measures were also put in place for the safety of the garba revellers and to ensure they could enjoy the night with peace of mind.
