Ahemdabad: Soul stirring music, Sri Lakshi Homa, heart-filling wisdom, meditation and joyous celebration mark Diwali celebrations for 7000 attendees who gathered in Ahmedabad to celebrate Diwali in the presence of global spiritual master and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
The celebrations began with the auspicious Lakshmi Homa, as divine chants filled the environment with positivity and grace, followed by an evening filled with uplifting knowledge and devotional music.
“Goddess Lakshmi gives more to those who are happy,” Gurudev shared, “Like a mother blesses the child, even I bless that may all your wishes get fulfilled. Move ahead in life knowing all wishes will be fulfilled. Sometimes it may take time but it will be fulfilled.”
Gurudev’s visit, long awaited for by the devotees, began from Ahemdabad with the Diwali celebrations. On 1st November, Gurudev, along with Hon. Governor of Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devrat will grace the Seed The Earth event organized at SVIT Campus, Vasad, where 5000 participants will attempt a world record for creating 2.5 lakh seed balls that will be planted and nurtured untill fully grown.
Titled Guru Samipya 2024, Gurudev’s five day tour promises to unite thousands in Gujarat through a unique blend of spirituality, wisdom and environmental action, fostering harmony, gratitude, and a commitment to a greener, more prosperous future for all.
