Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Youth Committee hosted the player auction for the GYPL VII Cricket League, beginning on February 28, on Saturday. The event brought together team owners, players and sponsors in preparation for the thrilling cricket tournament.
This year’s GYPL VII Cricket League will feature six male teams representing EBCO, IMark, H2O Carz Spa, Stellar Galaxy, RMP Advisor and ASB Tubes. Over 130 talented players will compete in the three-day tournament between February 28 and March 2, and showcase their cricketing skills and talent.
Shumona Agarwal Sutaria, Chairperson of the GCCI Youth Committee, said, “The GYPL Cricket League has become an important event in our annual calendar. It not only promotes fitness but also encourages healthy competition and provides a platform for young cricketing talent to shine. The auction also included a special ceremony to felicitate the event’s sponsors. This year, the league is supported by Title Sponsors The Lake Side and SR Group. Vatsal Exports LLP is the Annual Sponsor, Shree Maruti Nandan Tubes Limited is the Co-Sponsor, and the event is Powered by Jade Blue.
