UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joins Tulsi Janmotsav celebrations in Rajapur, lauds Morari Bapu

Rajapur, Chitrakoot: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday participated in the Tulsi Janmotsav celebrations in Rajapur, the birthplace of saint-poet Goswami Tulsidasji, and paid tribute to his enduring spiritual legacy. The event, held under the inspiration of noted spiritual leader Morari Bapu, witnessed the presence of leading saints, scholars, and devotees from across the country.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said, “I feel blessed to be part of the birth anniversary celebrations of the great saint Goswami Tulsidasji. This land, where he was born over 500 years ago amidst scarcity and isolation, became the birthplace of a divine soul who chose the path of devotion and dedicated his life to the ideals of Lord Rama.”

Praising Morari Bapu’s contributions to Sanatan Dharma, he said, “Who in India would not be eager to listen to Lord Rama’s divine story in the sacred voice of Morari Bapu, whose life has been devoted to spreading the teachings of Lord Rama. I congratulate him for honouring sadhus and saints and for keeping the memory of Tulsidasji alive through this initiative.”

The Chief Minister also congratulated the recipients of the Ratnavali, Tulsi, Vyasa, and Valmiki Awards, recognising exceptional contributions to Sanatan Dharma, presented as part of the Tulsi Literature Symposium. He said these recognitions would serve as an inspiration for future generations.

Speaking on the occasion, Morari Bapu said, “It is the fortune of this country that Uttar Pradesh has a sadhu as its Chief Minister. You are performing a yagna through your service to the people. Despite your responsibilities, you are here among us, which shows your generosity and duty. I humbly request you to grace future Tulsi Jayanti celebrations with your presence.”

The Tulsi Jayanti celebrations were marked by deep devotion and scholarly discourses. The Tulsi Literature Symposium, inspired by Morari Bapu, brought together eminent scholars and religious leaders to reflect upon the literary and spiritual legacy of Goswami Tulsidas.
