Netflix’s most anticipated series Saare Jahan Se Accha which launched today, tells the story of Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) agent Vishnu Shankar, who undertakes a perilous mission deep inside enemy territory: Pakistan. Created by Gaurav Shukla and produced by Bombay Fables, with Bhavesh Mandalia as creative producer, Saare Jahan Se Accha premiered today, ahead of Independence Day as a tribute to all those who serve the nation tirelessly, without recognition, rest, and regret.
Speaking about his role, Pratik Gandhi who essays the character of RAW agent Vishnu Shankar said, “I can’t wait for audiences to meet Vishnu Shankar. A man who holds the unimaginable weight of preventing an all out nuclear war on his shoulder. Celebrating the launch of this series in my home state makes it even more special, and with Independence Day around the corner, the story feels especially relevant. This series is a tribute to the brilliance and quiet courage of India’s intelligence services.”
Sunny Hinduja, who plays Vishnu’s calculating adversary – ISI officer Murtaza Mallik, added, “Playing Murtuza Malik was a very thrilling opportunity.
