Noor: Festival of Lights at Al Seef (17–19 October): Set against the historic charm of Al Seef along Dubai Creek, the Noor Festival of Lights returns with a packed schedule of performances and activities celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage. Expect grand processions, live music, poetry, dance and stand-up comedy, along with interactive workshops and talks exploring Diwali’s themes of light and renewal. The festival offers a shared cultural experience that unites communities in celebration of togetherness and joy.

CULINARY CELEBRATIONS

Dubai’s dining scene comes alive with festive flavours this Diwali, as restaurants across the city offer limited-edition menus and celebratory feasts.

At Atrangi by Ritu Dalmia in Jumeirah Al Qasr, guests can enjoy a bespoke Michelin-starred dining experience for AED690, where each dish is tailored to personal preferences for a truly one-of-a-kind meal.

Atlantis, The Palm welcomes families to Kaleidoscope from 18–20 October for a buffet featuring traditional Indian dishes, sweets, and live performances (AED280; 50% off for children).

At Amala in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, diners can enjoy a festive set menu priced at AED250 per person from 17–20 October, while homegrown favourite Dhaba Lane offers an authentic five-course Punjabi feast across its citywide outlets from 15–22 October for just AED65.

In Downtown Dubai, Jamavar serves an exclusive four-course menu for AED375 from 17–23 October, with dishes inspired by India’s royal kitchens. Meanwhile, Varq at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm invites diners to embark on a sensory journey through India’s diverse flavours, with complimentary festive gifts for guests dining between 17–20 October.

For panoramic views, Kris With A View presents a buffet of classic Indian favourites including pani puri and samosas (AED99 per person; AED89 for groups of 15+). FIREWORKS AND ENTERTAINMENT

Dubai’s skies will come alive with spectacular fireworks throughout the Diwali weekend. Head to Al Seef on 17 October at 9 pm to catch an awe-inspiring display along the Dubai Creek, where traditional dhows and heritage architecture provide the perfect backdrop. Visitors can also enjoy parades, music and workshops celebrating Indian art and culture.

At Global Village, the celebrations continue with fireworks on 18 – 19 October and 24 – 25 October, each beginning at 9 pm. Paired with live shows, street performances and festive shopping, these evenings capture the magic and vibrancy of Diwali in Dubai.
