મારુતિ સુઝુકી હાંસલપુરના ચોથા પ્લાન્ટમાં ઉત્પાદન શરૂ થવાને પગલે વાર્ષિક 10 લાખની ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા પ્રાપ્ત કરી

• વિશ્વભરની સુઝુકી મેન્યુફેક્ચરિંગ સાઈટ્સમાં 10 લાખ ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા પ્રાપ્ત કરનારી સૌ પ્રથમ સાઈટ છે.
• હાંસલપુર સુવિધા એક જ સ્થળે ભારતની સૌથી મોટી પેસેન્જર વાહન ઉત્પાદન સુવિધા તરીકે યથાવત્ રહ્યું છે. 

હાંસલપુર, ગુજરાત | ૩૦મી જુલાઈ ૨૦૨૬ | મારુતિ સુઝુકી ઇન્ડિયા લિમિટેડે (“મારુતિ સુઝુકી”) આજે ​​ગુજરાતમાં તેની હાંસલપુર સુવિધાના ચોથા પ્લાન્ટ (પ્લાન્ટ ડી) ખાતે કોમર્શિયલ પ્રોડક્શન શરૂ કર્યું છે. વાર્ષિક 2,50,000 યુનિટની ક્ષમતા ધરાવતા આ ચોથા પ્લાન્ટે હાંસલપુર સુવિધાની કુલ વાર્ષિક ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતાને 7,50,000 યુનિટથી વધારીને 10 લાખ યુનિટે પહોંચાડી દીધી છે. આ સાથે જ સુઝુકીના ઇતિહાસમાં એવું પહેલી વખત બન્યું છે કે તેની કોઈ એક જ ઉત્પાદન સુવિધા ખાતેની કુલ વાર્ષિક ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા 10 લાખ યુનિટે પહોંચી છે. આના પગલે મારુતિ સુઝુકીની હાંસલપુર સુવિધાએક જ સ્થળે ભારતની સૌથી મોટી પેસેન્જર વ્હીકલ પ્રોડક્શન સાઈટ બની છે.

હાંસલપુર પ્લાન્ટ ડી સાથે, મારુતિ સુઝુકીની કુલ વાર્ષિક ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા 29 લાખ યુનિટે પહોંચી છે. હાંસલપુર સુવિધા ખાતેનું કુલ રોકાણ રૂ. 25,288.7 કરોડ છે. આમાં પ્લાન્ટ ડી માટે અંદાજિત રૂ. 3,900 કરોડનું રોકાણ સામેલ છે. નવો પ્લાન્ટ શરૂઆતમાં કંપનીના મુખ્ય બેટરી ઇલેક્ટ્રિક વ્હીકલ (BEV), ઈ વિટારાનું ઉત્પાદન કરશે.

અત્યાધુનિક હાંસલપુર સુવિધા ફ્રોન્ક્સ, બલેનો, સ્વીફ્ટ અને ઈ વિટારાનું ઉત્પાદન કરે છે. આ સુવિધા કંપની માટે એક મુખ્ય નિકાસ કેન્દ્ર તરીકે ઉભરી આવી છે, જે નાણાકીય વર્ષ 2025-26 માં કુલ વિદેશી શિપમેન્ટનો લગભગ 47% હિસ્સો ધરાવે છે.

મારુતિ સુઝુકી ઇન્ડિયા લિમિટેડના મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટર અને સીઈઓ શ્રી હિસાશી તાકેઉચીએ આ વિસ્તરણ અંગે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, “મજબૂત માળખાગત સુવિધાઓ અને પ્રગતિશીલ ઔદ્યોગિક ઇકોસિસ્ટમ દ્વારા ગુજરાત મારુતિ સુઝુકી માટે ઉત્પાદન અને નિકાસના મુખ્ય કેન્દ્ર તરીકે ઉભરી આવ્યું છે. અમારી હાંસલપુર સુવિધાના ચોથા પ્લાન્ટમાં કોમર્શિયલ પ્રોડક્શન શરૂ થવાથી તેની વાર્ષિક ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતા 10 લાખ વાહનો સુધી પહોંચી છે, જે તેને એક જ સ્થળે ભારતની સૌથી મોટી પેસેન્જર વ્હીકલ પ્રોડક્શન ફેસિલિટી બનાવે છે. આ નવી લાઇન ભારત અને વિદેશમાં ગ્રાહકોની વધતી માંગને પહોંચી વળવાની અમારી ક્ષમતાને વધુ મજબૂત બનાવશે, સાથે સાથે અમારા ‘મેક ઇન ઇન્ડિયા, મેક ફોર ધ વર્લ્ડ’ વિઝનને આગળ વધારશે અને અમારા વૈશ્વિક પદચિહ્નનો વિસ્તાર કરશે.”

તેમણે ઉમેર્યું હતું કે, “એક સાથે મળીને, હાંસલપુર અને ગુજરાતની આગામી સાણંદ સુવિધા ભારતમાં વાર્ષિક 40 લાખ યુનિટ ઉત્પાદન કરવાની અમારી લાંબાગાળાની મહત્વાકાંક્ષાને પ્રાપ્ત કરવામાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ ભૂમિકા ભજવશે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ ભારતની ઉત્પાદન સ્પર્ધાત્મકતાને મજબૂત કરવા, રોજગારીનું સર્જન કરવા, નિકાસને વેગ આપવા અને વિકસિત ભારત તરફ યોગદાન આપવાની અમારી પ્રતિબદ્ધતાને પ્રતિબિંબિત કરે છે.”

ગ્રીન લોજિસ્ટિક્સ

ટકાઉ લોજિસ્ટિક્સના સંચાલનની મારુતિ સુઝુકીની પ્રતિબદ્ધતાના ભાગ રૂપે, કંપનીએ માર્ચ 2024માં પ્રધાનમંત્રી ગતિશક્તિ કાર્યક્રમ હેઠળ હાંસલપુર સુવિધા ખાતે ભારતની પ્રથમ ઓટોમોબાઈલ ઈન-પ્લાન્ટ રેલવે સાઈડિંગ શરૂ કરી હતી. માર્ચ 2023માં વાહનોના ડિસ્પેચની શરૂઆતથી મારુતિ સુઝુકીએ કુલ 7,50,000થી વધુ વાહનો ડિસ્પેચ કર્યા છે, જેનાથી CO₂ ઉત્સર્જનમાં, અને વાહન પરિવહનમાં બળતણ વપરાશમાં રાહત મળી છે. ફેબ્રુઆરી 2026માં, ગુજરાત ઇન-પ્લાન્ટ રેલવે સાઇડિંગ વેરાના વેરિફાઇડ કાર્બન સ્ટાન્ડર્ડ (“VCS”) પ્રોગ્રામ હેઠળ નોંધાયેલ વિશ્વનો પ્રથમ મોડેલ શિફ્ટ ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટેશન પ્રોજેક્ટ બન્યો છે.

Maruti Suzuki’s CSR efforts at Gujarat

The Company undertakes various initiatives as part of its CSR in the vicinity of its manufacturing facilities. The CSR initiatives span across Road Safety, Skill Development and Community Development efforts such as education, healthcare and rural development.

Upskilling the local youth

To strengthen the local manufacturing and talent pool, Maruti Suzuki has set up two Japan-India Institutes for Manufacturing (JIMs) in Gujarat at Mehsana and Gandhinagar. A collaborative initiative between India and Japan governments, more than 1,200 students have been trained across these two JIMs.

In partnership with the Government of Gujarat, the Company is also establishing Advanced Manufacturing Labs (AMLs) at five Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Palanpur, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar, Godhra, and Dahod. These labs will replicate a real-world shop-floor environment and equip youth with industry-relevant skills in advanced manufacturing. Further expansion is also being planned.

Automobile Skill Enhancement Centers (ASEC) have been set up at three Government ITIs at Ahmedabad, Surat, and Dhoraji, providing training support to students in automobile trades.

Additionally, High Voltage training course for EV and HEV is being conducted for students across nine ITIs set up in Gandhinagar, Gandhidham, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Jamnagar, Godhra, Bhuj, and Vadodara.

Along with the Government of Gujarat, Maruti Suzuki has set up International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE), Gandhinagar. It is an apex body for skill development in the automotive sector, utilising modern technology & systems. The centre has the capacity to train 5,000 students annually in both vehicle manufacturing &servicing.

School
The Company set up a modern CBSE English medium school in Sitapur, Gujarat in partnership with Podar Education Network in 2021. The school provides high-quality education to students from local villages. Currently, more than 800 students are studying in the school.

Hospital
Maruti Suzuki established a multi-specialty hospital at Sitapur in 2021 in partnership with Zydus group of hospitals (Ramanbhai Foundation). The hospital has transformed healthcare in the region, providing affordable and advanced tertiary care to more than 1.5 lakh people from 400+ nearby villages since inception. The hospital is accredited with NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers) certification and conferred the gold quality certification by the Quality Council of India.

Community Development

Maruti Suzuki continues to improve the quality of life through development projects in 26 villages adjoining the Maruti Suzuki facility. These projects span across water, sanitation, education, health, women & child healthcare, tree plantation drive, installation of CCTV surveillance for better security and other community infrastructure.

Road Safety

Maruti Suzuki has imparted driving training to over 60,000 individuals through All Gujarat Institute of Driving Technical Training & Research (AGIDTTR), Vadodara.
