In the presence of Forest and Environment Minister Mulubhai Bera, the organisation pledges to plant 2.11 lakh trees
Gandhinagar: A large-scale tree plantation drive was organised in Kalol, Gandhinagar, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ initiative in the presence of Gujarat’s Minister of Forest and Environment, Mulubhai Bera.
The event was organised by Anandam Parivar, which pledged to plant 2,11,000 trees as part of the campaign to contribute to a greener Gandhinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Patel of Anandam Parivar said, said, “Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency is one of India’s most significant and strategically important electoral regions. Under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amitbhai Shah, this constituency has witnessed tremendous development. Alongside progress, Amitbhai Shah has also laid out a clear vision for a greener Gandhinagar.”
He added that under the “Green Lok Sabha: Gandhinagar Lok Sabha” campaign, initiated by Amitbhai Shah, and aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, the Anandam Parivar has undertaken the commitment to planting 2.11 lakh trees.
Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, Minister of State for Forest and Environment Mukesh Patel, Members of Parliament Hari Patel, Mayank Nayak and Hasmukh Patel, and MLAs Laxmanji Thakore, Jayanti Patel, Ritaben Patel, Alpesh Thakor, Balrajsinh Chauhan, and Hardik Patel, were among the dignitaries who graced the occasion.
The event was jointly organised by Gujarat’s Forest and Environment Department and Anandam Parivar, with the cooperation of Anil Patel and Nayneben Patel.
